We were recently called out to a commercial property for a blocked drain. Our operative located the blockage in a 100mm line upstream of the manhole using CCTV equipment. The blockage was cleared and removed using High Pressure Water Jetting equipment and the line was re-inspected using the CCTV equipment.
Our operative found a defective section of 100mm verified pipe work under the property which was causing waste to catch and the line to block, this was backing up into the property, affecting all facilities.
The cause of the issue was cement on the joint restricting flow and the pipe had come apart causing a large open joint.
We issued a quotation to carry out the necessary repairs which was accepted by the client and the repairs were booked in as an emergency.
Our repair team attend the site and carried out a cement cut using one of our Picote Super Midi Electro-mechanical machines with a chain cutter attachment removing the build up of cement. We then installed a Silicate Resin local line patch to seal and strengthen the pipe ensuring free flow.
