CH Environmental Services Ltd had an emergency call out to property in Swansea for a blocked drain and sewer line constantly blocking.
Our operative arrived on site to find the sewer overflowing. He was able to locate a downstream manhole which on inspection was clear. Using High Pressure Water Jetting our operative was able to restore flow to the sewer system, washed down the overspill of sewage and applied disinfectant to the area.
He then carried out a Closed-Circuit Camera Survey of the sewer line and found the underground 150mm pipe and 100mm pipe were poorly installed and connected causing the waste to catch and block the system.
A quotation was issued to the client for the drainage repairs to be carried out to improve the flow and was accepted. Our repair team attended the site and carried out an excavation to expose the defective section of pipe work, the pipe work was replaced using a suitable pipe reducer to ensure good free flow of waste.
Re-instatement of the ground was carried out to prior to exiting.
